Windows slideshow sucks
To look at photographs Windows still is the wrong choice
Even with Vista Microsoft once again fails to deliver a photo viewer that is seamlessly integrated in the system. Do not use Windows slideshow even when only quickly looking at photographs. It simply is crap.
